It has been forever since I posted on the blog. I find myself constantly reading all the wonderful creative blogs and I often think of updating this one, but then I find myself busy... looking at other people's blogs! Spring has finally arrived and I am so glad. It is so nice to get out and get some fresh air. I have been sewing because I really enjoy it and it is so therapeutic! It seems like everyone I know is pregnant or recently had a baby. One of my favorite things to make is baby stuff. I really do enjoy holding babies~ the sweet baby smell is so lovely. Here are some things I have made recently... These are a blast to make and a great way to use up all my smaller leftover pieces of fabric~ three layer scrappy patchwork baby blankets that fold up into a little pockets for easy carrying...

A baby present form my kids' old kindy teacher- she had her first baby over Christmas break. I love this teacher~ she was one of those people who was so natural and great with kids before she even had her own baby. We picked out her fabrics for a diaper bag- two of my fav prints carnival bloom and lime moon dots. She wanted a traditional bag with 3 bottle pockets, large pocket, key fob and I added a shoulder strap that can be tucked if not in use. Front has a pocket for her phone. I had to use Paula Prass laminated cotton on the diaper changing pad because it was the only laminated cotton I had handy and do love Paula Prass fabrics. And a little diaper clutch for her wipe.. Can you tell I love making baby presents????
